The Department of Labor, Health & Human Services, and Treasury have issued rules on Transparency in Coverage (Tic) of health plans. These rules require all non-grandfathered group health plans to disclose information on pricing and cost-sharing under their plans via machine-readable files (MRFs) on a public website.
Regence BlueCross BlueShield (BCBS) of Oregon issued the following statement and resources to ensure our clients are able to meet these requirements:
- The MRF experience will be accessible via a Transparency in Coverage link that will appear at the bottom of our website. This link will be live July 1, 2022: https://www.regence.com/transparency-in-coverage/
- FAQ : www.regence.com/employer/resources/caa-tic-rule

- Please note that the link will generate a 404 error until “live” data is posted.
